It is super easy to make fresh healthy Guacamole at home with clean ingredients. My favorite recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- half lime, juiced
- 1/2 tsp Kirkland Signature Himalayan Pink Salt
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 Tbsp diced red onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a large bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher until it’s nearly smooth, with just a few small chunks remaining.
- Stir in the lime juice, salt, cilantro, red onion, and garlic.
- Gently fold in the diced tomato.
- Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed, adding more salt or lime juice to taste.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until you’re ready to serve.
It goes perfect with Trader Joe’s Mini Croissants.
